Last Night is an experimental lettering project based on dreams and nightmares. The idea was created as an experience that invites people to share their dreams or nightmares anonymously. After the dream is submitted, a lettering piece and a frame-by-frame animation are created to represent it. Each video is around 250 frames, all hand-drawn. Moreover, I wanted to capture the essence of dreaming and the roughness of nightmares through lettering. Scroll down to see some of the lettering and videos, as well as photos from the exhibit and the process book.
The following is the experience video, you can see where the video was submitted, the time and the dream itself as well as the animation. The idea is to have the same video on repeat, appearing in different places of the screen.
